Grand Hotel & des Anglais

This hotel is located 15 minutes away from Sanremo city centre and 5 minutes from the beach . It is very clean ,the room is not so big but very comfortable, walls clean,white furniture and the bathroom is very big. I was amazed to see that the towels are changed daily. My room was at 3rd floor,front side with sea view,so lucky to get it! The higher the floor ,the beautiful view in front of the eyes. Also the sunrise is magnificent to see it from the window.Check the pictures attached because i captured one !!Wi-Fi is available only downstairs at the reception .Breakfast very good with plenty to choose, good coffee and lot of sweets and fruits. The staff very friendly quick to solve any issue.

Very nice hotel. clean, resnabl price, verities of rooms sizes, breakfast is good, good location. The only thing is that it is located on top, you need to clime a stears to reach the hotel entrance.

Terrible Experience! - Grand Hotel Sanremo Our stay at the Grand Hotel Sanremo was absolutely awful and completely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard. A loud air conditioning generator was right outside our window, making it impossible to sleep or relax. When we complained, a woman from reception came to the room, acted arrogantly, and outright dismissed our concerns, claiming she couldn’t hear anything. She made us feel like idiots, refused to help, and left without even an apology. The parking was a nightmare – chaotic, cramped, and on a steep hill. You can give them your car to park, but retrieving it is restricted to specific times, which is absurdly inconvenient. The room was constantly filled with a chemical fragrance from the air conditioning, which gave us headaches. To make matters worse, the TV didn’t work at all, even after someone attempted to fix it by changing the batteries. And breakfast? A disaster. The service was rude and unwelcoming, making the entire experience even more unpleasant. This hotel fails in every aspect – service, comfort, and basic hospitality. Save your money and stay elsewhere. A truly infuriating experience.
