Grand Hotel Downtown

We 3 people ( me my husband and 4 years old child) stayed there 2 nights . The room is small but it’s fine . The horrible thing is happened at night . I woke up in the middle of night by itching . Then I see 2 bedbugs in my bed and pillow then I opened the pillow cover there is lots of bedbugs . So please be aware of it. We are stayed in room 216 . Thank god my child not allergic to this. In the morning my whole body have bed bug bites . In the room under bed and cot not clean . Also the air conditioning is leaking water so I put towel in the floor .

Solo female travelers DO NOT STAY HERE. It is NOT SAFE. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice but the neighborhood is the height of the unsavory district. Right outside the door (within 10 feet) people were injecting drugs, within 20 feet a man was evacuating his bowels AND WIPING IT ON THE WALL and less than 40 feet another was vomiting. The rooms DON’T have deadbolts or chains and the room I was given had a screw coming out of the handle so it could be taken off from the outside. There is no dresser to barricade the door. IT IS NOT SAFE!

I booked this hotel for one night for two people. However, upon arrival, the hotel claimed my booking was only for one person and insisted I had to pay an extra €50 to add the second guest. At first, they told me the extra charge would only be €10. But to my shock, they deducted €35 from my account instead without my consent. When I asked for clarification, the staff denied ever mentioning €10 and insisted it was always €35 To make things worse, my two friends who had just come to drop me off were treated as if they were staying overnight. The hotel used that as further justification for their overcharge. It honestly felt like a deliberate scam. Absolutely not worth it.
