Grand Hotel

We loved our stay with our little son at Grand Hotel. Everything was amazing: location, cleanliness, food. I think that their score on Google or Booking is not reflecting the reality. They are much much better. Thank you for the experience and looking forward to coming back.

We had a lovely 7 night stay at this well appointed hotel with Jet 2. Good side views from the balcony-the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. Short walk in to the centre of Forte dei Marmi for the Restaurants, cafes and shops (Designer). Comfortable, exceptionally clean room. Extensive, lovely breakfast buffet. Attentive, pleasant staff especially Donatella at the breakfast service (thank you) and Jaccamo (thank you) in the bar area who made the perfect cup of coffee for us every evening, Decent pool, plenty of sunbeds. The bike hire (reasonably priced) was brilliant for exploring the local area.

This hotel should be rated 3 stars hotel. (Definitely not considering this as a 4 stars hotel). I booked this hotel primarily for its location which was perfect but everything else is extremely horrible. Staff do not seem to understand basic tourism hospitality and service. There are many incidents that happened during my stay which I cannot list all of them, to make my comment readable. For instance, IRON is prohibited and they were unable to deliver one to my room as they consider ironing is dangerous (funny) all hotels around the world offer such a small amenity to the room. Other example, upon arrival, nobody seemed to come and collect our luggage so we had to take them by ourselves inside the hotel. Other comments in short regarding the room quality, noise and cleanliness. I will not recommend this to a family or friend members. As well as, I am not considering to stay at the hotel in my future trip.
