Grand Hotel Gianicolo

We had such a great experience here. The hotel was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and every staff member from the front desk to housekeeping to poolside service was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We visited in July and having the pool was key with the heat. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Even after we checked out they went above and beyond. We realized we left personal belongings behind two days later and the hotel had safely stored everything. They were quick to assist and even offered to ship the items to our home. That kind of care says everything. We would absolutely stay here again!

Staff was excellent, rooms were small (welcome to Europe) but had modern features and were clean. Breakfast was really really good. Location was quiet and convenient. Rome is walkable from here, but the hotel is at the top of a very long hill, so just be aware of that if you plan on walking instead of driving/taxis etc. All round great hotel and was perfect for my trip.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Location superb in Trastevere filled with great spots to eat and drink. We loved returning after a day sight seeing to lounge at the pool with a cocktail. Had dinner once food excellent. Staff also very attentive and welcoming. We will return. Suzanne 🇮🇪 Ireland
