The Grand Hotel Porto Cervo This hotel is absolutely beautiful. I’ve been coming here for many years, teaching yoga, and it always feels like home. This year, the hotel is under new management—and the team is amazing! A special thanks to Romina, who I’ve exchanged many emails with to organize our yoga retreats. Her attention to detail and dedication to making sure everything runs smoothly is outstanding. She truly goes above and beyond! To the lovely Maddalena, who always greets us with a smile and ensures all our yoga equipment is perfectly arranged—thank you for being so helpful! To Luca, the manager, thank you for always taking the time to help and chat things through whenever needed. A heartfelt thank you as well to all the wonderful reception staff, beach bar team, and the hardworking cleaners who keep the hotel spotless. There are too many of you to name individually, but your effort does not go unnoticed. The hotel itself looks even more stunning this year—the refurbishments have made a huge difference. Everything has been beautifully done. The flowers, swimming pools, and the sea all contribute to such a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back next year. My guests have all fallen in love with this beautiful place and its fantastic team. Thank you, Grand Hotel!

I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. One of the highlights was the service at the restaurant. We asked the manager if they could prepare a torta di ricotta and the next day they had it for us at the breakfast buffet. It was such nice gesture from the restaurant manager and cook. We rented a car and this location worked well for us. I’m not sure if this location works if you don’t have a car. There is a bit of walking if you want to head to the marina. The beach was awesome too.

it’s a beautiful view but that does not take away from the service. We purchased the Villa expecting a great vacation, yet it was everything but. They responded to this review already, sharing that our reservation was made for two rooms and they made the kind gesture for a upgrade… i included our reservation for the villa below to show this is just among the many lies they have presented to us. We were given no complementary lunch after checkout, just left us completely appalled by the lack of professional service that they left us with. The gate to our villa was broken and forced us to jump the fence, and was not addressed with in a day as they so say. It was also unable to be opened manually. We then were electrocuted multiple times and nothing was done about it. My friend was physically hurt and nothing was compensated. We then complained to the front desk and the blonde lady who is just a staff member, raised her voice at all of us and then accused us as liars and verbally assaulting them. This is completely unacceptable. Do not choose to vacation at this resort but do come to Sardinia.
