Fantastic location. Hotel is faded glamour and is tired. Room nice, view fabulous, air con brilliant, shower 🚿 no water pressure. Breakfast OK. Pool is really lovely. Staff nice. They need to sort the sunbed issue. 10 euros per day is not a solution to not enough sunbeds. Beach is 3 min walk and is very commercialised in San remo. We'd stay again tho.
Overnight stay (31/05/25) Driving back to London I asked for a car parking space, which wasn't guaranteed, but I did say I am travelling from London and wanted my vehicle to be secure. I didn't get a space as there was a local event taking place and all spaces were taken up! The radiator in the bedroom was still running hot. I asked for it to be shut off as this was June! The engineer came and did something and told me it will cool in an hour !! Next morning the heating was still on! Room was spacious with a balcony so that I could sit outside in the evening looking out to the sea.
🇮🇹Prima di tutto, l’orario del check-in era alle 15:00 e noi siamo arrivati alle 15:00, ma ci è stato detto che la camera non era pronta. Per il letto matrimoniale avevano messo due materassi singoli con altezze diverse, e la prima notte è stata scomoda. Quando l’ho segnalato, mi hanno risposto in modo maleducato dicendomi: “Ti rimborsiamo le prossime due notti e vattene dall’hotel.” Dopo questo episodio, siamo usciti dalla camera e avevamo richiesto la pulizia. Ma avevano solo sistemato il copriletto. Non avevano cambiato le lenzuola, né pulito il pavimento o il bagno. Inoltre, non avevano messo acqua nel frigorifero. Alcuni membri dello staff sono stati estremamente scortesi. Anche l’acqua della piscina era sporca. 🏴First of all, the check-in time was at 3:00 PM and we arrived at 3:00, but they told us the room wasn’t ready. For the double bed, they had put two single mattresses with different heights, and the first night was uncomfortable. When I complained about it, they rudely told me, “We’ll refund the next two nights — just leave the hotel.” After that, we left the room and had requested housekeeping. But they had only straightened the bedspread. They hadn’t changed the sheets, cleaned the floor, or cleaned the bathroom. Also, there was no water placed in the fridge. Some of the staff members were extremely rude. The pool water was also dirty.
