Grand Hotel Minerva Resort & SPA

An experience to relive In August 2024, I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Grand Minerva Herculane, and it was a very pleasant experience. His location offers splendid views of the resort and the surrounding mountains. A place that fascinates me with its history of more than 2000 years. The room was spacious, impeccable and very nice decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, a crucial element to relax and fully enjoy his holiday. The staff welcome was particularly warm and friendly, which greatly contributed to making our stay even more enjoyable. The Spa complex is a must: saunas and soothing music promote total relaxation and a friendly atmosphere. Regarding the restaurant, I was impressed by the quality and diversity of the dishes, prepared by an experienced chef. The room at 9th floor was a little bit small but cosy. The view from the balcony surrounded the whole area of the resort. Breakfast and dinner was good, there was plenty of food. We also had live music.

Been there on a BT. Old style communist building hotel but they polished it a little bit. Sulphur smell is almost everywhere, especially at lower floors. Lots of old couples, most likely they belonged to military structures judging from their look. The village has lots of deserted buildings, political corruption left its marks. One night is enough if you are curious about the surroundings. Otherwise I would avoid it.
