Grand Hotel Moon Valley

Loved our stay here. The pool and the view make it a superb relaxing stay. Superb sunsets. Staff really helpful. Quality food. Close to train station, easy walk. Great for exploring Sorrento coast.

Lovely hotel, very clean , proper Italian with only Italian home made food which was what we wanted on our Italian holidays. Thank God for no beans for breakfast or any english food !🤣 👏👏 lovely staff in restaurant, very helpful , and if anyone complaining that they don’t speak english maybe you try to learn a bit of italian before u go to their country. I do highly recommend this hotel to someone that love italian design and food . We just came back after week there (room 408) and so happy ! Thank you to lovely ladies in restaurant for taking care of us every evening .

This is not a 4-star hotel — the only thing worth 4 stars here is the view from the window. 1. The rooms are tiny and in a condition that doesn’t match 4 stars at all. 2. Breakfasts — just awful. They use tap water, which is salty and not drinkable, and the rest of the food tastes like plastic. 3. In my room, the shower head is broken so all the water leaks out, there’s no water pressure and you have to waste 30 minutes just to wash yourself. 4. To get to the beach you have to run a marathon. On foot it’s about 800 meters — you walk half an hour downhill and then somehow climb all the way back up. The slopes are steep and unsafe for small children. If you drive, the traffic is horrible and there are idiots on the road honking all the time. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and will never come back here again.
