Most of the things were good. Room was clean and had nice smell. Building itself is nicely kept. Breakfast was good with a lot of options. Staff was nice. Downside for me was that there was some loose paper of mirror frame in the room that could be easily fixed. And I think the access to sauna and inside pool should be included in the price.

We stayed for a week. The exterior of the hotel looks much better than the inside. While the rooms were clean, the interior felt old and outdated. Breakfast was very disappointing — the fruit was not fresh (old watermelon that was smashed, apricot and pineapple served as compote). For vegetables, there was only iceberg lettuce and a few cherry tomatoes, with no other options for those who prefer fresh produce. Having to eat the same limited selection every day was a challenge. Surprisingly, for a so-called 5-star hotel, no water was provided in the rooms. Overall, it did not meet the expectations of its rating.

Utterly Disgraceful – Aggressive Staff, Zero Pet Tolerance Despite “Pet-Friendly” Claim We’ve travelled the world, stayed in countless hotels, and encountered all kinds of service—but never anything as shocking and demeaning as what we faced upon arrival here. We came with our old, blind dog, who quietly relieved himself discreetly against a wall near the fence, well away from the entrance and out of sight of other guests. It was not a disturbance, not an accident, and certainly not a reason for humiliation. Yet instead of a warm welcome or even a polite redirection, we were met with hostility. The porter suddenly began yelling at me in front of everyone, aggressively questioning what I thought I was doing and barking orders that the dog should have gone to “the garden”—as if there was any sign to indicate such a rule. Worse still, instead of helping with our luggage—which was his actual job—he stormed off to clean the wall and demanded we apologize. Apologize? For what? For having a well-behaved elderly dog who relieved himself quietly and harmlessly on a stone wall? All this at a hotel that charges €35 per night for pets and claims to be “pet-friendly”? That is false advertising at best, outright deception at worst. This behavior was not just unprofessional—it was downright humiliating, and completely unworthy of a so-called five-star property. If we hadn’t prepaid, we would have walked out that instant. To anyone traveling with pets—or expecting a minimum level of respect—do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
