Grand Hotel Pylypets

I liked the hotel and the staff. The hotel is located in really beautiful area. It takes only 10 min of walk to get to the waterfall "Shypit". Less than 1 hour drive to the breathtaking lake "Synevyr". And all over are really beautiful beautiful views and nature. What I did not like are roads next to the hotel (10km radius). Its all broken. And especially one road that GPS tells you to go by. Don't take the shorcut there!!! I thought that we will stuck there. Its really bad! I also was surprised with the rules of the hotel. 1. You need to pay for the children breakfast. That's what they tell you on the reception. But in the rules book it is said that parents pay for it optionally. So do we pay or not? 2. The sauna is extra price too and you need to book it. All the rest was great and the breakfast was pretty tasty.

21.9.2020 The T0718 till Pylypets is in perfect condition...but the last 4 kms are the pure hell..if your car survives-spotless clean,comfy bed,relaxing tschan,very friendly staff,tasty and more than fair priced restaurant (delicious Bogratsch!).Simply the damned quads and cross-motorcyles around nerve like hell! 11.11.2024 deteriorated seriously in quality...not fixed tiles in bathroom floor(!!),no buffet at breakfast anymore,just rather poor menue...without any notice ahead...syrniki and cucumber were even obviously old and cappu caused heavy problems with our stomachs.Restaurant however still excellent..no ATM anymore at site,no currency exchance...so,also no tipps for staff. At all-better to close hotel in low season than to keep it with this quality-price-relation open..

The place is neat and clean, with a nice location in the picturesque mountain area. However, some details leave to be desired. When hotel is full they do not provide a room with more than 1 electronic key which causes a bunch of inconvenience for several people living in 1 room. Breakfast has a limited choice, and what's confusing - dishes and drinks are not signed so I accidentally grabbed a spoon of jam which turned out to be strawberry and that's not my favorite even more The lunch we had was pretty fine. But alcohol did not taste good. Also it is pretty warm inside, so it could be pretty comfy or right opposite.
