What a wonderful Hotel!!! From check in to check out it was s wonderful experience! My wife and i spent 2 days at The Grand Hotel San Pietro and we were immediately greeted and taken to our room which was a beautiful with a balcony overlooking the sea. They kept their kitchen open for us upon arrival even though it was closing. We were blown away by the views! The food was fantastic and the staff treated us like family! I want to also mention Christian, who took excellent care of us in the bar, and Nino and Marzia, who treated us most kindly at the pool. When we return to Taormina, we will most certainly stay at The Grand Hotel San Pietro!
Worth every penny! Above and beyond excellent service, and just about everything is complementary from the in room mini bar to the best breakfast and even shuttles to town. The views are spectacular and the decor is top notch. Even the massage therapist, Elena and Maria were world class. Highly recommend, my wife and I cannot wait to come back!
Fantastic location. Rooms are quite nice and new… rest of hotel is a bit dated. The service is where this hotel falls flat. It’s not 5 star at all, and have the nerve to shove in your face asking for tips when none others do. The excursion companies they contract with are TOP NOTCH, excellent… but really needs a total overhaul in approach to hospitality and amenities. Shame because so much (more) potential.
