Grand Hotel Sofia

We stayed in the junior suite and had a fantastic experience. The value for money was excellent, and the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to assist with every request, even helping with a surprise gift delivery that made our stay truly memorable. We were a family of 20 people from Canada and Italy, and we stay at the hotel from Aug 7 to the 14 and we had an amazing time. Wanted to thanks and complaint the staff, there are so many wonderful people and I will name just a few, from the beginning I connected with Carlotta and she was amazing with all her help and guidance in preparing for the trip and accommodation. When we arrived and checked in we met Giorgio at the desk and he was fantastic, so helpful and great customer service. In the dining room every one was great and helpful, but I wanted to give Stefano a shout out for all his suggestions, he is very knowledgeable, with the culture and history of Sicily, the last shout out is for Giovanni at the pool bar her was so sweet, serving and catering to all our needs. I will return one day soon, highly recommend the location and facility. Paola

Do not book this hotel! Its dated, the rooms were grubby. Mould around the showers. Hotel staff were grumpy and not helpful. The hotel did not have an iron. We booked a family room through booking.com. On arrival they had us booked as 1 adult and 2 kids. They told us if we wanted a family room then it would cost another £248. We showed them the exchange of messages confirming the room choice but refused to accept the error was theirs or booking.com. The food was sub standard. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. We had a view of a firestation and old train track.
