For the price you pay the rooms need to definitely be nicer! The bed was so uncomfortable and after being outside all day you really want a soft bed to close your eyes to. NOT GOING TO BE HERE THAT IS FOR SURE!! Food is such a joke! Be sure to make a trip to the local grocery store! You will leave having spent your life's savings on food alone so be careful. Be sure to NOT shop at the hotel! You will pay 3x the amount for the exact same thing when you go shopping downtown!! Be smart and your stay might not leave you broke! But my advice is stay somewhere else. There are other hotels on the beach for half the price and better service and much nicer staff and rooms for more than half the price! I will not be going back to this hotel.
Stayed here with my family for a week and we all enjoyed our time there. Only took one star away because of the lack of the food. We had a butler helping us make dinner reservations but without him we probably would’ve been eating takeout pizza every night. Make sure the plan ahead because the restaurants fill up quickly. The food is expensive and honestly not worth what we spent. For a family of 5 we were spending about $250 per meal. We had mixed reviews about the flavor and size of the dishes but I enjoyed most of my meals. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at. Never saw litter or anything that looked dirty. The beach is beautiful and the waves were never too bad. There were always beach chairs available and the staff there was always ensuring everything was clean. Overall we loved our experience here and will be back!
I’ll never go back. Lack of integrity in the staff- always trying to sneak in extra charges without telling you. Exorbitantly expensive food that frankly wasn’t even great quality. Drinks for dinner just soda was five dollars each even for each refill. At one point they tried to charge me $60 at a meal for soda. The thing is they don’t disclose their policies. Every single thing you buy has a 25% up charge on it with levy’s and tariffs. Many of the pool chairs have to be rented from $39-$59 a day per person. The service and the attitude is lacking. Even kids club was $80 for three hours and all they did was let them watch a movie. We will never go back. It’s unfortunate because the hotel itself is beautiful, but there’s so many better places that have far more value for the dollar.
