Grand Hyatt Barcelona

Our stay at the Sofia Hotel in Barcelona was truly exceptional from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the bellman, Joaquin, who absolutely went above and beyond. He was incredibly helpful, spoke excellent English, and what truly stood out was how he remembered all of our names—including our kids—and greeted them personally every time we walked through the door. That kind of thoughtful, personalized service made us feel right at home. The front desk staff were just as impressive—friendly, professional, and always eager to help with anything we needed, from directions to local recommendations. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern, but it’s really the staff that made our stay unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend staying at the Sofia Hotel if you’re visiting Barcelona. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay at the Grand Hyatt – the rooms were modern and very clean. A big compliment to the housekeeping team. We received fresh towels every day, and everything was very clean. The hotel is generally in very good condition. The outdoor area is also very clean. The only criticism: there weren't enough loungers sometimes by the pool. They need to add a few more. We will stay here again on our next stay in Barcelona. Best Regards

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt Barcelona. Luna at the front desk was amazing. Kind, resourceful, and very welcoming. She did an amazing job checking me in and was extremely kind. Luis Daniel I believe was an exceptional server in the restaurant during the breakfast service. He recognized me on different days and was very kind. This property does a wonderful job maintaining the rooms and lobby. Everything was immaculate, this property lives up to the Grand Hyatt brand. Only thing is the slow replies from the WhatsApp number provided. Other than that, this was a wonderful stay. Please share my thanks with Luna and Luis Daniel, they deserve some recognition!
