Staff were very polite and attentive. The breakfast was excellent every day. Our only complaint would be there is no "real" business center to get work done. Restaurants, spa, pool, mall access, coffee shop, all very good.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable no complaints there. However, the service we experienced was absolutely unacceptable and completely ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory occasion. I had informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating my friend’s graduation. I even arranged to have flowers and 10–20 balloons delivered to the hotel via my personal driver — nothing extravagant, just something thoughtful to mark the occasion. To my surprise, the staff refused to deliver the items to the room and instead confiscated them without notifying us. When I called to ask why, I was told the balloons might “harm the room’s interior” — which made no sense. After several calls, I asked to speak to the manager, but was told she was “in a meeting.” I went down myself and found her immediately and that’s where things got worse. The manager was extremely rude, making passive remarks about the flowers being “cheap” and insisting they would “dirty the room.” I asked why that would matter since housekeeping cleans anyway, and she snapped that the hotel isn’t responsible for cleaning “our” flower petals. When I pointed out that flower petals are often part of romantic packages in hotels, she replied, “We work with a supplier and know his work — not like yours,”. She finally said we could keep our items only if we paid a 100 KWD deposit, which they immediately deducted from our card (not just held) and told us we’d have to wait two weeks for a refund. Not once did she apologize. In fact, she spoke to us in a condescending tone, saying things like “I’m trying to make this very simple so you’ll understand” completely uncalled for and humiliating. This experience turned what should have been a joyful, memorable night into a frustrating ordeal. To hotel management: I sincerely hope you review how guests are treated especially when they go out of their way to celebrate special moments at your property
