Grand Hyatt Shanghai

The hotel itself is pretty grand, with spacious rooms, plenty of things to do, and several attached restaurants. However, the complete highlight of my trip was the service. The staff went extremely out of their way to help with every thing, and were super kind and welcoming, especially Amy Cheng, who went above and beyond in helping out with everything I needed.

Very clean and spacious rooms. The gym was also very good. The view from the club was fantastic. The hotel is in one of the tallest buildings in Shanghai, and had great views. The Chagee next to the hotel was also good

Hotel location is good. Easy access to taxis and good shopping malls nearby with great food. Nonetheless, service is an area that needs further improvement. Check in was slow, way below my expectations considering it's a five star hotel. During breakfast, staff just cleaned my table even though there was a card stating it's still occupied. There were occasions that I had to remove some of the plates and cutlery myself.
