Grand Hôtel Des Alpes

We stayed at the Grand Hotel des Alpes in January 2025. Whilst all the staff were fantastic, I must give a special mention to Francesca who was absolutely wonderful. She took the opportunity as soon as we arrived to learn our children's names and did everything she could to engage with them throughout our holiday. She truly is a credit to this hotel. The hotel and the rooms are really lovely and it is the perfect location for everything in Chamonix. We sadly had to cut our holiday short due to a family emergency back home but the staff couldn't have been more helpful in sorting out everything to get us back as quickly as possible. Highly recommend this hotel - we will be back!

A fantastic hotel, the staff could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable or accommodating. Great location in the centre of town & it's own ski shuttle bus to the local lift stations, which was an amazing service at the end of a long day on the mountain. Highly recommended, we will absolutely return. Thank you for a great stay

Super friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. Well thought out system for storing skis. Clean and modern rooms. Only down side being slow-draining shower and unreliable elevator. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend.
