Grand Hôtel Roi René Aix MGallery Collection

This hotel has everything you could possibly need in a guestroom and hotel property, and everything works! Air conditioning, bathrobe and slippers, Nespresso machine, and a quiet pool area and restaurant. My only disappointment was that my guestroom had one small window while the photos on the website of the Classic Room show a lovely floor to ceiling window. Next time I will ask not to be placed on the third floor.

The hotel is great, nice rooms and lobby area. Breakfast was quite good, some waiting though, especially when it was full. The pool is a nice and appreciated add in the summer. Easy walk to the old town.

Had some nicely restored terrace rooms, though there is minimal storage if you're staying for more than a week, as I was. The restaurant has a tasty breakfast buffet, though the other meals are less exciting. Fortunately, the old town is just minutes away by foot, and has many very nice restaurants.
