I am glad to know that IHG still care about the feeling of the member. Thank you for listening to the voice of the customers. I used my IHG point to book the hotel for 3 person 4 nights, and I am the diamond member of the IHG. I am surprise to know that I don’t have the access to the lounge. There is also no upgrade….and this is really blow my trust to the IHG program. The staff said that there is no upgrade because it is a reward redemption. Furthermore, the room description state that it is for 3 person, but there is only one couch in the room without any blanket or sheet. I guess the hotel think the 3rd person may sleep anywhere in the floor. I have to ask the guest service to bring an extra blanket. Overall it is a disappointed booking. Fortunately, I made another booking at the park Hyatt and it was also a reward booking. The park Hyatt room has been upgraded to the suite, so that I can feel the big difference.

I stayed at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas for two nights and was genuinely impressed – especially by the outstanding Club InterContinental. As a frequent traveler with a passion for top-tier hotel lounges, I can confidently say this is one of the best in Asia. The Club Lounge offers an excellent buffet, complemented by a daily rotating main course during the evening cocktail hours (6:00–8:30 PM). On the first evening, I enjoyed a tenderloin steak, and the second evening featured deliciously seasoned "chopsticks" (an Asian-style meat dish). There’s always a freshly prepared fish option available – truly gourmet level. The lounge ambiance is calm, elegant, and highly service-oriented. The staff are attentive, discreet, and highly professional – exactly what you would expect from a luxury property. Only downside: The sparkling wine and red wine served didn’t quite match the hotel’s otherwise exceptional standards – they tasted rather low-end. There’s definitely room for improvement in this area. Bottom line: A true luxury hotel with one of Seoul’s best club lounges, outstanding service, and a strong eye for detail. If the wine selection were improved, I would gladly give it 6 stars – but for now, a well-earned 5 stars. Wow! Wonderful hotel with very attentive staff from the moment you arrived till sadly you depart. Facility is very well manicured and top shape. Only gripe is they offered a drink comp tickets for the lounge bar which we took and advantage since it was a beautiful lobby bar, but when it was time to settle the bill the drink comp was only few items in the back of the menu…. Felt like a quick bait n switch. Would have been better if they would clearly state the drink lists separately. Not going to get irritated but still left a slight bitter taste to the overall wonderful experience. Would still recommend though…
