Best hotel in Curitiba, amazing staff!! I highly recommend this place
Experience based on comparison to other Grand Mercure Hotel. Breakfast is good, not excellent, service from the restaurant was great. The room's temperature is not as cold as i thought. Bathtub was lightly dirty (2 strands of hair). Front desk service ok.
Spotty service in the room. Coffee machine works only on small cups, no kettle to boil water for tea. The coffee was limited to 4 capsules. Iron for shirts available only for one hour at a time, have to order from reception and then return. Towels were not changed regularly, most times only a few towels were changed, I started off with 4 towels, and one for the shower floor, finished with two large towels only. The others were removed. Room service left cleaning materials in the room - a sponge, a drinking bottle. Room sink did not drain and took time to empty. Liquid soap in the shower finished and was not replenished. Very noisy air conditioning. The phones in the room didn't work for 2 days.
