Grand Mercure Medan Angkasa

This is a really lovely and grand hotel. Always greeted by friendly and welcoming staff members. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. I've never had a bad experience here. Reasonably priced too. This place is walking distance from Medan city train station (if you are ok walking in Medan - it's a bit of a culture shock for someone from the United Kingdom!) I've been here before and I'll be coming back again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Grand Mercure Medan and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the warm welcome by the front desk staff to the attentive service provided by the housekeeping team, every aspect of my stay was commendable. Upon arrival, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a warm welcome from the front desk staff. They efficiently handled the check-in process, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free start to my stay. Their professionalism and friendliness set a positive tone for the rest of my visit. The room itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. It was evident that the hotel takes great pride in upholding high standards of cleanliness, which I greatly appreciated.

(+) - Excellent cleanliness, hospitality, with good location - Water jug available 24/7 by request (-) - Bathtub and shower water temp inconsistent. There are times when the water was only lukewarm, no good for bathtub. - Keycard had to be registered almost every day, even though we had confirmed the length of our stay during check in and each time we re-register our card.
