Grand Mercure Phuket Patong

My stay at Grand Mercure Phuket Patong was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and the stylish ambiance of the hotel. The location is ideal—just a short walk to Patong Beach, Bangla Road, and lots of shopping and dining options, yet the hotel itself feels peaceful and private. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern Thai touch. I especially loved the pool access room—it was such a treat to step right into the water from my terrace. The pool area is gorgeous, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the tropical vibes. Breakfast was a highlight of each morning. The buffet was extensive, with a great mix of Western and Asian dishes, fresh fruits, pastries, and live cooking stations. The staff were attentive and always smiling, which made the whole experience even better. What really stood out was the level of service—every staff member I interacted with was genuinely helpful and accommodating. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or family, this hotel hits the mark in comfort, location, and hospitality. Highly recommend Grand Mercure Patong for a memorable, comfortable, and luxurious stay in Phuket!

Overall, the hotel is located along and near Jungceylong mall in Patong which offers unparalleled convenience if you need to get anything at the mall. Check-in was professionally handled by the front office staff, and a breeze. Room is reasonably sized and the pool is welcoming for the kids. Grab was fast when called, to the pick up point at the hotel as they have many cars waiting outside. The hotel is also walking distance, ie less than 10 mins from the beach. And the breakfast served amazing fried rice that we had everything, a must try! Overall, it was a good stay for a family. The only downside is that it is way too crowded with tourists in Patong, which is not the fault of the hotel. Recommended!

I usually stay in a different hotel when I visit patong I am so glad I didn’t! It was my husbands Birthday and when we arrived the bed was decorated there was a complimentary drink and birthday cake which I thought was a lovely touch. We had a superior suite and a superior double room. Both were spacious. The hotel itself is so clean, modern room and a great location. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and the quality of food was really good. All around great experience and we will be staying again.
