Grand Mercure Rio de Janeiro Copacabana

The view from the hotel was amazing and the location was perfect. Breakfast was super fresh and had everything we needed every morning. The gym was modern, and our room was always super clean — housekeeping came every single day without fail. They even surprised us with a cake for my birthday, which was so thoughtful! The food from the restaurant and room service was really delicious too. Would totally stay here again!

I liked this hotel. It was good for the price. It's not top notch luxury, but definitely great if you need a quiet, nice place to stay. I would recommend for people that travel and spend a lot of time doing stuff. Location is excellent. Waterfront to Copacabana and close to Ipanema and many bars and restaurants. The breakfast was awesome!

+ Great location. The executive rooms with a sea front view are nice and modern. Breakfast offers a good spread, and the gym is very well equipped. – Some nice staff, but overall service is wooden and a bit cold. Showers often only have lukewarm water. The room was advertised as having an espresso machine, but it doesn’t mention that each capsule is charged as a minibar item. Overall: A 4-star experience, not 5, but still worth a look.
