We are extremely thankful for the exceptional service and hospitality provided for us from @Grand Mercure Yogyakarta Adi Sucipto. We are from India and we stayed here for a couple of days. While we were staying, they provided extraordinary service from the front desk, the chef and his team, restaurant staff especially Damar and his colleagues and hotel staff. Even with our dietary preferences they provided tasty foods. Our stay here was peaceful. Thanks a lot 🙏

The room was incredibly comfortable and spacious, and the service was outstanding. They even knew that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary, which made our stay even more special. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Yogyakarta!

Extremely affordable, but definitely not 5 star — hotel rooms are very old and need refurbishing, especially the bathroom with mold marks and exposed pipes, and only a top shower (no handheld shower). Smells quite musty too. Room design is a bit odd, with a very small closet right next to the front door/shoes which is blocked if the bathroom door is open. Mirrors very tinted/dark. The superior rooms have no view (just a dirty wall), but they did warn us at reception and said we could upgrade if we wish. We decided to do the upgrade to a mountain view room which was 100,000 more per night, but not a great view either. Breakfast selection is limited, especially if you're looking for something not fried/heavy (no yoghurt, granola)— the sausages, pancakes were quite dry and undercooked. Gym closes at 8pm which is very early! Massage at spa is quite amateur, felt like no real technique, just light pressing here and there. Location is central and easy to taxi in and out of, but not walkable to any notable districts or attractions. Lobby and shared areas have beautiful architecture though.
