Grand Meteora Hotel

This place has such a grand feel especially when you can sit on your balcony and look at the majestic views of Meteora and the surrounding town! There's quite a few facilities/activities to do in this hotel. Rooms were spacious and felt complete and the balconies weren't small and felt comfortable to hang around

I LOVE this hotel. Out of all the places we stayed in Turkey and Greece, I had been warned that this one wasn’t quite the same level. To the contrary, this was my very favorite. It was beautiful, not flashy, and lacked nothing. There was a simple elegance to the layout and atmosphere. It felt like many of the mountain resorts in the US, with a large “lodge” kind of feeling. I loved the friendliness of the staff - always greeting us with smiles and genuine warmth. I loved the large sitting area just off the lobby with comfortable couches and a cozy atmosphere. I loved the bathtub in my room. (Every other place had showers only.) The buffet items at dinner and breakfast were delicious and ample. What breaks my heart is that I didn’t have a chance to try their Spa Salt Room. Had I known about it sooner, I would have scheduled it instead of eating dinner. (We only had one night there and had to leave before the spa opened in the morning.) I’ll always remember this hotel and the comfort provided as one of the highlights to my life-changing adventure in Greece.

A beautiful hotel surrounded by amazing nature in Greece. The facilities are good. However the swimming pool was closed for maintenance and not functioning. The staff is very courteous and the food is amazing. The lamb is very tasty and the deserts were yummy.
