I loved my stay here. Everyone was friendly, but I’m upset with the new staff that opened now because they fired Akeem Henry, who was one of the best staff there. This man works very hard and he loved his job. It’s not cool at all. Everyone deserves a chance.

Well, well Royal Decameron will not be recommended by me to anyone.I was not at all impressed with the room. I was expecting a suite with two rooms and even separate entrance. My friend and I were placed in what looks like a dorm room with two single beds. I was really perturbed that I left a Queen size bed at home to spend 5 days on a single bed. It was like my friend and I were sleeping on the same bed. I found myself falling off the bed twice. Horrible!! There was no privacy as the Adult pool and a bar were in front of the door, so if one of us opened the door and the other was on the bed , then persons by the pool and at the bar got a perfect view of the room and the person on the bed. One day we found a lizard in the room and another day we found a cockroach in the bathroom. Not welcoming at all. The food was bland. The ground food was not cooked properly and little pieces of fish fillet were tasteless. Fruits and vegetables were good. We needed to see more Jamaican dishes and salt and pepper shakers on each table. Delano Wynter a server in the dining room worked very hard discharging his duties to the best of his ability. He was also very friendly. Darnell at the desk was rude and unprofessional. When I spoke to him about the condition of the room and that I was not satisfied with the room and needed to be in the suite that I was expecting, he gave me such an attitude. He even stated that he told the woman that I booked with that there were no suites available. The grounds keepers worked very hard maintaining the outdoors and helped us to get mangoes. The bartenders were great and very respectful. We enjoyed the shows at nights. However I will not be staying there again. The rooms need to be renovated and the some of the staff at the front desk including Darnell need to be trained. I really think we should be refunded some or all of our money.

Rooms fine nice and detached bungalow. Staff good at bars . Rooms cleaned regularly. Beach nice pool area good . AND NOW FOR THE FOOD .and restaurant. Staff fine BUT food often runs out and not replaced. Staff do not check empty food .and you have to ask . If you are a fussy eater ..this place is not for you .. But overall place is definitely 3 star and do not expect anything more . Love the location . and some outside bars love to great you ... AND YES we would come back .
