Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama

The hotel is big, beautiful and feels luxurious. Lots of little extras, as in pyjamas, hair brushes, vanity kits etc. The additional cost of the indoor pool is kind of ridiculous. So did not use it. The gym was unexpectedly good and free. Choice of 2 restaurants. Dinner was just ok. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options. Only the Disney resort line within walking distance. Easy access to the Disney parks and a shopping centre. The view from our room was amazing!

We stayed from May 12–16 in room 769 and had a lovely experience. The balcony (lanai) overlooking the Disney Monorail was a highlight—you can even see the tops of Cinderella’s Castle and the Beauty and the Beast Castle from the room. The space was bright, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for a Tokyo hotel. While the bathroom could use a bit of a remodel, it didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment. The Disney Monorail is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again.

Located close to both Disney resorts it's in a great location. A free shuttle will take you to the nearest monorail station or it's a short walk. The staff are impeccable and we were given a free room upgrade. The entryway is gorgeous. The rooms are clean, the free bathroom products and pyjamas are of great quality. The rooms sadly do show signs of age in the fading color of the carpet which ion its own would be fine but the real drawback was the shower which had bits of grout cracked away and which could cut your feet if you were unlucky. The buffet breakfast is generous and offers options for all tastes.
