Grand Paragon Hotel Johor Bahru

My church LPPC just finished our bi-annual camp at Grand Paragon. Sincerely appreciate how the hotel staff helped with meals, cleaning of rooms, prompt service and going the extra miles to serve. We know it is not easy to attend to more than 200 guests as there was another church there too. The way the rooms were rotated to allow for the multiple events that happened over 19th till 22nd June 2025, is not an easy juggling act. The food served was more than sufficient and delicious. Particularly for the 19th June dinner there was a dish with beef which was succulently prepared and cooked. But it was not repeated.. Hmm such a pity, too popular with the campers, who may have taken it all in. The Roti Prata prepared by Master (Shifu) Shawal and his disciple Fikri was also particularly good and well done. Queue was long each day, the fried eggs was also popular. Thumbs up for their tireless service during breakfast rounds. For the last night we were provided with the grand ball room, well decorated and spacious. Thanks. The car park is complimentary for guests who can go to the front counter staff to validate the tap in card used. Must exit within 15 minutes though.

I visited Grand Paragon Hotel today ( 28/7/25 ) for my lunch. I am giving a five stars review because of their long spread of good food and excellent services. I was attended by a trainee Vitrassandy from Indonesia. I was impressed by his spoken English and his customer service. His command of English was good. He was customer oriented. I do hope Grand Paragon Hotel will give him an opportunity to advance in his career. I wish him all the best.

I chose this hotel based on Google Reviews, and it turned out to be really good! The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, with nice interiors. The room was spacious, tidy, and comfortable, with complete amenities. I really like this hotel. For a 3-day, 2-night stay, it was definitely worth the price. The breakfast had plenty of options, though the food was just okay. However, the fruits were fresh and delicious! If I visit Johor again, I’d probably stay here again.
