We had an incredible experience at the Grand Park Royal Kids Club! The staff Abigail and Esmeralda was so warm, attentive, and full of energy. They truly made every day exciting for the kids. There were fun activities scheduled almost all day long, from making pizzas and decorating donuts to crafting necklaces and playing in the kids pool. One of the highlights was the dancing cow – the kids absolutely loved it and couldn’t stop talking about it! There was always something creative or active going on, which gave parents some time to relax while knowing the kids were having a blast in a safe and happy environment.
The resort was aesthetically pleasing, however our telephone was broken the whole trip regardless of the three tickets I put in at the front desk, also our television never had signal. Now we weren't there to watch TV, but it was costly to book here so everything should work or be repaired upon acknowledgement. Also the food on the local taco tasting excursion was far tastier than anything from any restaurant here. The best restaurant was the seafood, and it is only open for breakfast and lunch. Oscar on the 12th floor was awesome, and 12 had the best bar in my opinion.
I stayed at this hotel in Mexico expecting a relaxing and enjoyable getaway, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. While the location is picturesque, the overall service and amenities did not live up to expectations. One of the most frustrating aspects of the stay was the food. The quality was consistently poor across multiple dining venues. Meals often arrived lukewarm, and several dishes lacked basic seasoning or freshness. Even the “specialty” restaurants failed to deliver on either taste or presentation, which was especially disappointing given the cost and advertised standards. Additionally, nearly everything on the property closed shockingly early. Most restaurants, bars, and even the pool area shut down by 9 PM, leaving very few options for evening activities. This lack of flexibility was inconvenient and made the hotel feel more like a retreat center with a strict schedule than a vacation destination. Guests hoping for a lively atmosphere or any form of nighttime entertainment will be disappointed. Service was polite but unengaged, and requests often went unanswered or were significantly delayed. Overall, this stay fell short in multiple areas—food, service, and amenities. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a vibrant, all-inclusive experience in Mexico.
