I’ve only been to Foxwoods resort casino about three times… but the times I did go was a lot of fun. It’s a clean casino. Signage is OK a little confusing though, but I don’t know if that’s because I’m new. It’s a huge casino. The outlets are awesome. However, walking to one side to another. I’ve noticed there are some areas that have a lot of dead space or nothing opened at all so I’m kind of curious on what’s going on there and why they have it… Other than that, I can’t really tell you anything about the rooms, but if the casino floor and the bathrooms and restaurants are nice and clean, I can imagine they take pride in their rooms as well…. The hotel lobby is gorgeous very ritzy. I love it, and everyone that I have encountered that worked. There has been really sweet and super helpful and if they couldn’t help, they led us to someone who could. Will be going back for sure.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Foxwoods, even though I left down. At any time of the day, it seems there are multiple options open for any table game you’d like with different ranges of minimum buy ins. I’m a craps player, so it’s nice to see more than one table open like I’ve seen at other properties. The facilities are very clean and seem to be well taken care of. I don’t personally enjoy many slot games, but there is a large range of choices in different games. The one negative I had was for the first time ever I had a dealer in the high limit room seem to really not want to shuffle his cards to deal blackjack to me. I told him I could go to a different table it if would make him happy, but he shuffled the cards and shook his head the whole time. I got rinsed, and I know that’s what I signed up for, but having a more pleasant dealer would have made it less of a downer. Not a great high limit room experience.

Stayed 4 nights for a dance competition in the Fox Tower. The best part of this trip was the distance from the Tower and the convention area. We were able to leave snacks, drinks, etc in the room and easily go back and forth. We were on the 23rd floor but the elevators were fast and readily available. Other than the vicinity between the tower and the convention center, the parking is free and easy to get to. However, the resort is NOT kid friendly. The indoor pool is only open til 1 or 2 pm and then its adults only afterward. The outdoor pool is open from 8 to 8 but if it starts to rain or thunderstorm they close it and then you're SOL for pool time. Food options near the tower are not good. If we wanted something quick to eat, we would have to find something in the outlets or walk to the Pequot Tower. The check in was fast however the agent was quick to move on to the next guest, we had no info about the amenities or where the ice machines were. We were given the room key and that's all. I did find that they showcased all the amenities and restaurants via the TV channels in the room. I recommend staying here if you're here for the casino obviously or if you are here for a dance competition or convention event and need the convenience of being close. Other than that, save the money and book nearby, its cheaper and you might have free breakfast.
