Grand Plaza La Paz Hotel and Suites

This hotel has a special place for events at night and breakfast in the morning. It has a great view of the sea. It has three pools, one of these is like a river. The family bedroom we chose was fine, it had one sofa and four chairs, a tittle fridge, one bedroom with two beds, cable tv, a table, etc. The people who work here is very kind. The service for someone like me who lives in a big city could be slow but it's fine for holidays. I would recommend this place and also recommend to rent a car.

Nice hotel at a good place. Quiet location, nice view. Has a swimming pool in the center of hotel. Rooms are a little old. Has bar on site and breakfast buffet. Was disappointed of the breakfast. Would recommend getting it somewhere else. Breakfast not included in room price (as of 03-2018). Internet a little slow too.

Absolutely horrible. Not even worth the 1 star rating. Made reservation for the week and eventually cancelled and requested a refund. Do not trust any rating over a 1 star. We reserved the Dorado Suite for us and our 5 kids. We checked in and got settled only to discover there was no hot water, not even luke warm. After a cold shower we went to the front desk to complain. They eventually got us into another room and WHAT A DISASTER! The condition of the rooms were unacceptable. Worse than any cheap motel we have ever stayed in. Photos to support the claims here. Blood stains on the bed sheets, splatters on the curtains, disgusting bathroom shower basins, electrical outlets not secured to wall, bathroom floor drain not affixed to the floor, mold and corrosion throughout the walls and floors, sink was rusty and corroded, smell of mold and filth in rooms, drywall hanging from the ceiling, live roaches on the ceiling and floor, beds were super hard where my hips hurt throughout the night, bathroom doors would not close because they are too big for the frames so no privacy, mix matched fixtures and lots of poor repair and patch work all over the suite...... The list goes on. Very obvious this place does not maintain the property at all. We roughed it out for the night as we were very tired and hoped to let the kids enjoy the pool. What another disaster! Beer bottles and trash in the filthy pool, one pool was closed but there was no signs or warnings. After the kids went in the the reception advised that this particular pool was closed and had many chemicals in it. Thanks for the warning! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. The manager rudely tried to imply we were exaggerating and when we informed him we had photos and would not recommend the place he reluctantly gave us a full refund. The people who post good reviews I seriously question their level of acceptable quality and sobriety.
