We had a truly wonderful stay. The service was excellent, SPA was great, the breakfast delicious and varied, the drinks at the bar were great and the house itself is beautifully designed full of charm and luxury + location is perfect. A very special thank for the beautiful room with the stunning view that was reserved for me for my birthday. The thoughtful compliment waiting in the room truly made my day. It was such a lovely and personal touch. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable! We will definitely be back!
Hotel is located in an ideal central spot in the very heart of Riga. Valet service to park the car was convenient and ran well. Our room was stylish and well-equipped, the only window opened to backyard, facing a wall, but let's be honest, we did not come here for the view. We did not use the spa, but had a look at it. It seemed really nice but rather small. Probably a good idea to find out beforehand what are good times to visit it for less crowd. Breakfast was rich with all sorts of variety to cater for different tastes. What I suggest to the hotel managers and staff - a smile goes a long way. Longer that knowing perfect English or having fast solutions. With a very few exceptions, the people from the hotel team we met were very serious and smiles were rare. May be they need some daily praise or good words from their managers :) All in all: nice rooms, great breakfast, fantastic location.
Hotel is fine, but price / quality ratio is not there. Rooms are big and clean, but if you are not lucky - you might get a room with an inner yard view with windows facing other rooms. Beds quite comfy, plenty of storage, good bathroom, but overall dark theme and not being able to open the curtains (without seeing your neighbours) make it a dungeon-like experience. No parking on site, 10 min walk to nearest parking is pretty inconvenient. Breakfast is fine, hard to rate it because ultimately every hotel have the same options. Variety of there, so it's probably above average. Spa part is small, but nice, probably the best part of the hotel. Service is good, friendly and easy enough. I'd prefer having a more relaxed atmosphere without uniforms and suits. Overall I'd not recommend this hotel for the price I've paid. 100e per night might have been justified, but definitely not double that.
