Grand Safir Hotel

My first time in Istanbul. Booked this Hotel and was pretty worried to be honest as to what it would be like. It is honestly a lovely hotel. Extremely clean and staff are very, very helpful. If you need anything they will get it for you. I am so glad to find this place. Had to extend my stay a few times for certain reason but always helped me to keep same room. If you want a great hotel with great staff. This is it. One hundred per cent recommend

The room was clean. The weathe was cold, but once i got to my room i found the place warm. Mr. Khalil is very helpful and speaks Arabic and Turkish. It's very close to bus stations and it only takes you 6-7 min on feet from there to Aksaray Metro station. It's a safe place to stay in at a cheap price compared to the value.

EDIT: BEWARE!!! DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE REVIEWS!! SCAM! We stayed here in August 2021 and really enjoyed it (see original review below). We went back in November 2021 with the whole family (two rooms) and she showed us a NICE room (same room as last time), gave us the price, we accepted it and came back the next day to stay for 3 nights. When we came the next day she gave us a different room. It smelt bad, it was clearly not renovated like the last took, the bedding was dirty and the washroom light didn't even work. When we went to complain she basically said we were wrong and started to yell at my elderly father. She refused to refund us and said we were wrong and even said we stayed in a different room last time. She was EXTREMELY RUDE and did not even apologize once. I think they only have 1 nice room and they use it to drag in customers. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Rooms were very clean, staff was amazing... One speaks English and one speaks Arabic so it was easy to ask questions. They're very welcoming and we have already suggested it to friends and family. Location is also amazing for shopping, food and Fatih camii is just down the street. Tip: don't take the stairs stick to the elevator!
