Great hotel with beautiful rooms. Really relaxing atmosphere. Nice swimming pool with jacuzzi area. Good room service and restaurant.
Good atmosphere around here, living surrender by green trees. Welcome drinks serve when you check-in. Clean and good room with complete accessories. Fruits serve for you in your room (good taste). There is a small swimming pool for family. The restaurant locate at golf area that staff drive you from hotel by golf car. I order some for dinner, good taste.
Reason why we booked this hotel was it's in the center of emptiness when it comes to nearby hospitality. We had a wedding at a place nearby and the closest other option was 10km away. Reading the reviews we had good expectations and to be honest the hotel itself and the surroundings placed in the middle of a well-designed golf course, are beautiful. What lacks were the details and execution of everything. Who thought it was smart to use the couple hundred metres away golf clubhouse for breakfast, lunch and dinner. One that btw takes their last order at 6:30 and with all the cheap plastic tables didn't really fit with the grandeur of the surroundings.or even the quality of the buildings and materials used. Checkout the balustrade by the way, it's really nice, but the inside of the restaurant felt cheap. Due to a second part of the hotel build on the existing parking space, besides the mess the construction gave, we had to park further alongside the road which was inconvenienant and just odd. The rooms were very nice but if you put in beds that are, am I'm not joking, 3 metres wide (and 2 long) then please put on an extra pair of bedding. The one we had was 1,8m and my wife took all of it sleeping 2+ metres away. It was after midnight and we were so tired we couldn't be bothered to get the nightdesk (no housekeeping or room service after 6:30 either). The lack of service showed also by the piles of dirty plates in the hallways all night that smelled and looked just poorly. For the same lack of staff reasons a trashcan at the front door of the hotel, where also was one of the two allowed smoking places (where staff was smoking too...), was overflown with McDonald's packing and other trash attracting vermin's. The really nice pool was another victim of this weird closing time and closed at 7pm while many people were still there. The lights of the pool itself came on only an hour after dark and 30 minutes before closing. Again beautiful but it just didn't add up to the experience. The final bit that got us to write this review is actual something I will contact the hotel management about. There was live active CCTV in the massage treatment area were people were undressing. The CCTV was shown on a monitor at the front desk which could be publicly followed by anyone standing on the walkway behind it. Staff came rushing to us when we pulled down our pants, manouvered us in a blind spot corner and we're hiding us behind a towel. Bit late and very awkward. The massage however was very good, 1,5hr for 750THB per person. When asked the reception about it the next morning it was shrugged off as it is what it is. To sum up; Beautiful location, nice hotel design and rooms, lovely pool, good massage, not very impressed by the food and a lot of puzzle pieces in the wrong place.
