Grand Sarai Nafplio

We stayed at Grand Sarai, in the heart of Nafplio’s old town, and our experience was truly exceptional. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful – whatever we asked for, they responded immediately and with a smile. We asked for beach towels, an extra blanket for the room, even a plastic container to take our breakfast with us as we were in a hurry – and they provided everything without hesitation. In fact, when we forgot a Kindle in the room, they contacted us right away and took care of having it sent to us in Athens! The mattresses and pillows were excellent, offering a great night’s sleep, and the building itself is impressive – a beautiful restoration that fully respects the traditional architecture. The view from our room was stunning, and the location is perfect for exploring the old town. I highly recommend it and we will definitely return!

The hotel room was amazing. There is one thing though, if you are a sensitive sleeper: make sure you don't fall asleep very late because there is a lot of noise in the morning. The church nearby starts to "bang" at 8 am, and closed windows and the ear plugs that they provide (2 pairs) didn't help me personally. The cleaner is loud in the hallways. I could hear the noises of the vacuum cleaner next door. But i still give the hotel 5 stars.

Boutique hotel in the center of the picturesque town of Nafplio. 4/5 for the location just because we had such a hard time carrying the luggage from our car compared to other hotels with road access. We were not happy with the breakfast. Room was clean and well appointed but the central AC unit struggled to keep the room cool. The narrow design curtains barely covered the windows from the sun in the mornings which did not help either. Staff were courteous and friendly.
