Grand Southsea Khaolak Beach Resort

Good comfortable hotel on the beach (cross the quiet road, through coconut trees). Hotel was rather quiet, which was perfect for us as we wanted to relax. There are a few local restaurants and scooters to rent nearby or taxis if you want to explore further afield. The hotel room itself was really comfortable, the staff really welcoming and friendly. The hotel pool was good for us as the hotel was quiet (stayed 2nd half of Nov 18) i don't know how busy it may feel when the hotel is buzzing with guests. The welcoming message on the bed was rather sweet, the room was comfortable and clean, great shower. There are beach towels available as well as flip flops and a beach bag. The beach towels are refreshed daily. Housekeeping staff also came in to spray the room with mosquito spray late afternoon/early evening. The breakfast and dinner foods were very fresh and tasty. The slightly negative thing i would have to say is that it felt as if the "season" had just started (probably had) so the hotel was still being made ready. We did not lack anything in terms of service though...

Ghost Hotel. Really sad as everything could look good but no clients so maintenance is made. I am Driving in front of the Hotel Daily and couldn’t see any activities there. The situation of the hotel would be absolutely great as the road and the beach is directly in front. Would be happy to know if its gonna reopen again.

Good for long stay & perfect location, def not a luxury or five star- the room itself is good, pet-friendly. The facilities, maintenance, service are mostly not working or at least not 24 hours or 5-star. Suitable for people who doesn’t mind and been to the city before so already know their ways around the city, can appreciate the quite, walk distance to the beach, cheaper than average for its location.
