Grand Tjokro Premiere Bandung

Pros :Good hotel and very kids friendly. Have 2 building and variety breakfast menu. The Menu is good and deliciuous. Cons : I cant found how to call receiptsionist because no info on the phone. But the service from operator team is good and fast.

Stayed at Grand Tjokro Bandung and honestly, it’s a hotel with a lot of potential. The place is quite nice overall, but the room really needs better maintenance and cleanliness. There was a noticeable smell coming from the bathroom, and the corners of the room were not in great shape, some areas looked untidy or poorly maintained, which was disappointing considering I didn’t stay in the cheapest room. Soundproofing is also quite poor, I could clearly hear conversations and noise from across the street, which made it hard to relax at times. One small but annoying issue: the elevator non physical buttons are quite unresponsive. You have to press them multiple times, which isn’t ideal, especially when the hotel is busy. On the plus side, the facilities, services from staff are excellent a true one-stop destination for a family vacation. There’s so much for kids to enjoy, making it super convenient if you’re traveling with little ones. Another highlight is the very wide variety of breakfast options, including a fun gubukan-style setup (like food stalls), which adds a unique and enjoyable touch to the dining experience. However, cleanliness still needs to be improved in certain areas, especially around the kids’ zone. I noticed some ants near the chocolate, milk, and milkshake station, which should definitely be addressed for hygiene reasons. The pool area also needs more attention, especially when it’s crowded, cleanliness tends to drop during peak times, and I noticed several pool tiles (ceramic pieces) had come off, which could be dangerous and really needs fixing. Also, parking is quite limited, though that’s pretty common for hotels in Kota Bandung. All in all, it’s a good hotel with lots of strengths, but it needs better room maintenance, cleaner public areas, more responsive facilities, and stronger soundproofing to truly offer a premium experience.

We were quite disappointed with our stay. The bed sheets were noticeably dirty, which raised hygiene concerns. The room also felt old and worn out—very different from the photos and descriptions we saw online. We chose this hotel based on the many positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t match those expectations. House keeping is friendly though and we managed to get room exchange therefore 3 stars, but you still need to lower your expectations With similar price you may able to get a better one
