Grand Westside Manila Bay

Overall wonderful hotel, it’s very premium and appears to have been built very recently. The hotel room we got was very clean and had really nice linens and such. All employees are very kind and accommodating. All hotel facilities (gym, lobby, general lounging area) are top notch. The room we got had a distinct paint smell (likely due to maintenance), so we requested a room change. Management was very quick to accommodate and assign us a new room! I would like to stay here again next time I’m in Manila, and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering it.

Had a mostly pleasant stay at Grand Westside. Amenities were good, and I enjoyed the quiet time at the pool. Staff were polite and kept things in order. We had an AC issue on the first night, but they resolved it and gave a complimentary late checkout. Breakfast on Sunday was hectic, and the food options were quite limited. They could definitely improve the variety and quality of the dishes. Also, the pool waiver doubles as the towel form, which was a bit odd. Overall, a decent experience with minor issues. I’d consider staying again.

The interior design of the rooms (family room) are quite average looking. While it’s clean and simple, I don’t find the room pleasing to the eyes. It’s important for us since we love staying in the hotel often as well. The bathrooms are also a little tight in space.. The staff were very nice though and were helpful to every time we needed something.
