Grand Zuri Hotel Duri

This is easily the best hotel in Duri. Room was cozy. Window view was abysmal though, like staring into walls (literally). Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

I come to this city for family purpose. This hotel is very comfortable. The service and meals are very nice and good. I love to stay here. Very recommended. Thank you Ms. Dinda Widiastuti for your hospitality.

Since this is the last night of our stay, i hereby give my honest review regarding this hotel. Grand Zuri Duri. First of all, we are greeted by the concierge in the lobby. There are 2 of them when i stay (i stayed over 3 nights). And all of them are incredibly polite. hats off to them. 5/5 hospitality (for the concierge and the receptionist) Long story short. Here we are in our room. I have zero photos of it because when we arrive, we have a lot of things to do, and the room is nowhere near good to be taken picture of. The room itself (212) is neat and also tidy. Has a high frame rate TV (yeah, i like it so much). Netflix account is already there (except for our last day, it signed out. idk why, so i need to use my own account). Air-con is good, probably well-maintained. But, for a 3 or 4-star hotel, i thought the room would be a little bit bigger than we had (any other 3 3 - to 4-star hotel in Jakarta has much plentier space). The bathroom is also clean, but a very, very tight place between the toilet and the shower. When i use the toilet, i need to sit sideways, lol. nevertheless, it got fine valves for the hot-cold water, never "too cold" or "too hot". Can be adjusted easily. But, i couldn't find any place to hang my towel comfortably. Please send my apologies to your room-boy because i need to replace my towel every day ( I couldn't get it dry enough because there was no place to hang it inside the bathroom. i got 2 wearpacks and 3 shirts already hanging by the dresser) That's it for the room. Now we move to the food. I ordered a pizza and a peppermint lemonade (if im not mistaken for the name). It took around 50 minutes for my order to arrive. TO BE NOTED: i ordered it just 1.5 hours before an iftar. so i have no problem with that. Probably, the cooks and the chefs are overwhelmed by the iftar's event that day. I never expected the pizza to be that huge (i thought it would be a 4 slice simple pizza). Turns out i got 8 slices. It's pretty cheap, considering it is an in-house pizza. Tastes good also, although the dough is a little too thick (for me, personally). it costs around IDR 88k before taxes. So yeah, i considered it as affordable). Oh, the only picture that i took is that afternoon-meal that i ate at the first day. Hence, for the rest of the food, it is good enough for me. I ate it for suhoor. For the pool? they probably have the best pool in this area, so relaxing and soothing experience just to sit down and enjoy the view! Ah, one big point. This hotel is located just by the main road, so if you happen to have the window facing that road, expect some noticeable noise from the speeding bus and semis up front.
