Grande Collection Hotel & Spa

Pros: Excellent customer service, friendly and heplful staff. Special mention to Anna who was provided us a lot of tips and information around Hanoi. The hotel is well situated - right in heart of old quarter and walking distance to several places. Room was clean with strong a/c. Cons: Bathroom needs an update ( it was clean though and provided hot shower). Breakfast food was the same everyday ( it was good but menu rotation would be nice) Overall, I would recommend this place

The stay was pretty good, we got a free upgrade which was nice! We also did the famous Vietnamese massage which we really liked, but afterwards the girls who did the massage asked for a tip and since we went to relax and did not have any other plans ofcourse we did not bring any money. They told us they would wait for us to get money, to us this felt very weird and really ruined the whole experience for us. Breakfast was good, but not really special. We like to sleep in and around 09:00 they do not really refill anything… So I would suggest to go early in the morning. Overall stay was nice, the reception is really friendly and there is a special table for tourist information. We did not use it since we were only here for 2 nights but if you would like to book a day trip or anything this could be very useful! Another thing that was just amazing is that there is always somebody that will carry your bag for you, to your taxi an to your room. This is just great service
