Grande Haven

If you are looking to vacation in St. Mary, I suggest you rent a villa in this area. Accommodation is affordable and the views are breathtaking. The famous James Bond beach is nearby and there is also an ATV ride attraction in the area. Ocho Rios is about 15 minutes away if you want to enjoy a night out on the town.

I'm absolutely in love with this community. The house I visited had the most beautiful view. It's located in close proximity to the towns of Port Maria & Ocho Rios.

Gilbraltar Heights Villa is a true gem of a find. Its location is up a beautiful, (walkable), hill, with the most amazing scenery, yet conveniently placed to travel to any other location, to explore/sightsee. The local beaches are in walking distance as is the local town of Oracabessa. The hosts are the most obliging that i have ever met. Nothing i had asked for, they could not muster, whether that was visits to other locations, sightseeing or varied activities. They have a very large, comfortable, beautiful home and are incredibly knowledgeable about the island. I love all foods and their cooking was undoubtedly the best throughout the island, that i had experienced. I did also visit, as i sometimes do, some hotel resorts out of curiosity. None of them, despite their ridiculous costs, have the charm of feeling that you are actually in a different country. Whereas, the owners, Brian & Donna obliged me with the Jamaican holiday dream.
