We stayed here just for 1 night. The hotel is very charming and recently renewed. The insides as well as the rooms are very clean. The hotel staff is very kind and nice. Breakfast is also good and they even offer a dinner menu, which we tried and were happy about. They have also a parking right front door and a big pool and spa. Unfortunately we couldn’t try the thermal bath. We would stay here again!
Nice recently re-opened historic hotel with a huge pool. Our standard room was new but very very tiny. In shower you can't turn. If you look closer you can still recognize the age. The quality of renovations will last max 5 years abd the rooms will be rocked down. Remember it's down in the valley, not much to do in the village (termas next door) Included is the usual Portuguese (limited choices) breakfast. Limited staff language skills (depending on staff shifts) For rates usually starting at 120€/double, I'd expect more for thid remote location (but it seems it works, check for 80€) Cobbled street noise in some rooms....
Lack of real a/c in summer may be a problem,but was able to open windows to cool at night in month of May. Dinner room food is OK, breakfast very good.
