We stayed in one of the economy rooms, which is located in the Annex building. The hallways are dark with peeling wallpaper, but once in the room it was clean, well supplied, and even included a small balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains, which was a delightful surprise that I wasn’t expecting. We had a wonderful time and I would absolutely stay there again.

I've stayed at worse hotels. This certainly did not meet expectations as most hotels in the area though pricey at least had very decent rooms/locations and friendly staff that allowed you to feel you had a good time. We stayed in the annex room, it was dark and there wasn't enough parking. It was an okay room but felt really old and not too maintained the building. The room itself was okay but the least nicest of our Banff stay. Location is good though.

Horrible, dirty, and really got the bait and switched Called the reservation hotline. I asked if it was pet friendly and hitch they said yes. Booked the last room which promised two double beds, a balcony, a view of the mountains, and lots of room for me, my wife and daughter and our little shitzu dog. $510 plus tax Showed up Lady at the front said sorry if you have a dog we have to switch rooms. I informed her I already booked a pet friendly room, and was told no they did it wrong. She had to move me to second floor room and told me it’s the same. Also, we need to add $30 for the pet and a series of other fees above what I was promised when I booked through reservations hotline. Not to let it ruin our night I reluctantly accepted Walked over to annex and holy crap. The enterance looks like you are walking into a crack motel that you can rent by the hour. Peeling paint, damaged walls and missing ceiling tiles. No different on floor two where I walked down to room 288 which is located right beside the stairwell. Inside was two single beds, no balcony, a fantastic window view of some rundown building and extremely narrow room. No vaulted ceiling or spacious room like the website shows nor how the reservation person explained. I walked back to the reservation desk where the lady told me this was standard room and double room meant two beds. Size of bed are just singles. She was not going to give me the room I had reserved and the best she could do was a 15% discount. For the price I paid to stay here, I could have stayed in a 2 queen bedroom at the Banff springs hotel. My first and very last time I will ever consider this chain of hotels or any of its affiliates. I felt cheated and completely ignored I should have read the reviews before ever considering
