Grande Vue Private Hotel

The best accommodation you will find in Battery Point. A grand old home / hotel from a century ago. We had a lovely three night stay and we were so happy with our choice. The service was friendly and Ash our host was wonderful looking after all our needs whilst giving us privacy as well. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the addition of homemade cakes and biscuits on offer 24/7 was a real treat. The public spaces were lovingly restored to Victorian glory and we enjoyed spending quiet afternoons in these and the breakfast room. Thank you for a great stay. Bret and Kerri (Melbourne)

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Grand Vue. It’s a beautiful building with sweet outdoor spaces in a cute residential neighborhood. It is quiet and tranquil while also being within walking distance of restaurants and cafes. Downtown is a slightly longer but still very manageable stroll. Our room was lovely: sizable and comfortable with a gorgeous view. It was tough to tear ourselves away! Breakfast is light but tasty. But what really makes Grand Vue exceptional is the service. Everyone is kind and willing to accommodate any need as best they can. They are happy to engage in conversation and give local recommendations or just let you enjoy your peace and quiet. We just loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel, fantastic location. Highly recommended if you are staying in Hobart. Bed was so comfortable and our room was upgraded at the last minute, which was so kind of the owners. The home made treats in the kitchen is a beautiful touch. The views are incredible. Other reviews any lower than 5 stars are just people who are extremely hard to please. Highly recommend this hotel.
