Grandom Suites

Staff was amazing, rooms were clean. We had 4 kids and 2 adults and was big enough. Only minutes away from La Rambla and other locations. The female staff, was great, assisted us in buying tickets for all of our attractions, gave us tons of recommendations. Highly recommend this location for families. The cleaning lady even took our clothes out of our washer (we asked) and hanged it for us to dry. Felt very safe and comfortable. The water stayed hot, after the 5th shower, which was amazing. Price was great as well. Highly recommend.

Our room was like an apartment, attractively furnished and comfortable. Fresh flowers. The neighborhood is nice, the location good. Comfortable bed. Room thoroughly cleaned daily. Hot coffee in the kitchen in the morning. Good shower, although we were alerted that the hot water could give out after a certain length of time and one would need to wait for hot water to refill. We did not encounter this situation. The outstanding feature was how helpful the concierge, Sandra, was in helping us with arrangements for our visit. We would return on another trip to Barcelona.

I've stayed for almost a month at Grandom and I can say it was a very nice experience, right next to the heart of Barcelona. There was a small apartment, with two bedrooms, with fully equipped kitchenette, even with washing machine. The minuses were: pretty smelly, especially bathroom (I assume it's the canal, but I was staying at 4th floor...), dated couch in the living room and pretty noisy (ask for upper floor). Pluses were more: very clean (everyday, except Sunday), large bed, the kitchen gear (plenty of plates, glasses, knives, pots, all you need). In some of the days, they even brought fresh flowers. Plus several supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Parking is included, but not very convenient, 3 blocks away. Ladies at reception always nice and responsive. Overall, great stay, strongly recommended.
