Great hotel and location was really good! The service was good although they wanted to charge for an extra towel even though it was for my baby. I think they could be a little bit more flexible for special situations.. the room was comfortable and big, although the cleaning was not the best and rooms are not so sound proof as I would hope they were.. definitely more of a business environment than for families

Too many restrictions at the hotel. No food or drinks are allowed from outside to your room. For international standards, continental breakfast provided did not have staples such as eggs, which were at an additional charge, seemingly strange as almost all hotels include basics such as egg as part of the breakfast. Infact, there are additional charges for anything required in addition to what is provided. The hotel provides just one hand towel for a couple. Any additional hand towel or bathing towel needed is chargeable. An extra towel if needed to use for the swimming pool is also at an extra charge. Just one hand wash is provided in each room. When we requested for body wash for bathing, we were told it costs extra and we must use the hand wash to bathe to avoid extra charges. This is by far the strangest thing I've seen. Not expected from an international hotel. Storage of luggage just for a few hours till 10 pm on the day you check out. We had two separate reservations at the hotel just 3 days apart and the hotel refused to keep our luggage saying they are going full. They should be more helpful to customers with multiple reservations at the same hotel.

If I could rate this hotel with 0 stars I definitely would. Starting with the location, it is very sketchy, every local told us to be careful at night since you can encounter any kind of person. The view from the room is horrible. As well as the location, the service was terrible. When we went to tell the receptionist about the problem we had with the water, because yes, you cannot get hot water in the departments, they told us naturally “oh yes just wait 20 mintues, and if by then you don’t have hot water you could call us and we will see what to do” horrible!!! In the state the world is with the lack of water availability, having to do that everytime you shower with multiple people in a single room is ridiculous and incompetent. The rooms are the worst ever, you get cold at night, the internet does not work, you can also hear everything from the streets and the wind. When you get to you floor the smell is unbearable, I don’t know what it is but everytime I get back to my room there is a different horrible smell. In the buffet there isn’t a large variety of food options, and if you want eggs (which is something key in a buffet) you have to pay an additional fee. Overall my experience with my family was unbelievable, we would never ever come back to this hotel, and would definitely recommend people to run from it. Grandview? Horrible view.
