Advantages: In general the hotel is not bad, it has TV, internet, pool, bath, tea, coffee and water. The conditioner works well. The service changes towels and robes, clean the room daily. The room has a safe for money. On a reception girls helped us to buy the tickets online. Disadvantages: the conditioner blows hard, but it gets hot without it. Toilet and bath have a smell and unpleasant to see. We asked the iron, it is broken. 2 times we asked the knife, they do not provide in the evening. The restaurant opens too early, 6:30 and works till 10:00. The breakfast is the same on a daily basis, there are no good fruits, the country is rich of fruits, but we eat the eggs all the time. The food is not for kazakh traveler, even though guests mainly were kazakh. Juices are the same every day, only 2 types, tea is not tasty. You wait in order until they cook the omlet for you. In the morning the stuff of the hotel was loud.

Totally not worth the money. The hotel is old (or maybe they just put me in the worst room even though I book almost a month in advance, don’t tell me that you don’t have an option), full of dust that makes me feel itchy in a few minutes. Not to mention the facilities are broken. I ask to change the room the day before my checkin because I want a double bed, not twin bed, and they refuse because of fully book. When I checkin and complain about the room, they also confirm no matter what I say, I still have to stay in that dusty room and offer to send HK for cleaning. Hygiene is something that should have done before the guests arrive, not after complaining. And it cannot change the quality of the facilities. If you can’t manage the quality, don’t sell the room to the guests. For the price of a 4 stars hotel, I have to say that it’s a nightmare business trip.

IZUMI SPA SERVICE My husband and I used to be loyal customers of this hotel's sauna service because the sauna service here is really good. We used to be here regularly every week. However, I had to STOP using their service because of their new policy change from Nov 24. Spa staff REQUIRED us to CONFISCATE OUR PHONES AT THE SPA RECEPTION. In terms of other belongings (clothes, money, bag…), we can keep them in private locker. So what is the function of locker ? It is absolutely true that we are not allowed to use phones in the hot spring and sauna area. However, we are also prohibited to access and keep our phone at the locker area. It’s extremely unreasonable. We came here to experience the service and relax, NOT TO BE MANAGED. Taking away our phones-a personal and sensitive property, is something that makes us uncomfortable and has a bad experience. It is the first time I experienced a weird situation like that. Even in Japan, where onsen culture originated, there is no such case. Making and implementing appropriate policies not negative policies.
