Grange Portland Hotel

We loved our stay in this hotel. Okay, the room was a bit dated, the tiles were cracked and the bed was a bit too hard for me, but nothing was really broken, so no problems there for us. The experience was 5-star because of the lovely staff. They did everything they could to make our stay very pleasant, breakfast was good and the room was spotless. The Underground and busstops are very close, so perfect to discover the entire city! 2 parks at either end of the street to relax in the sun...What more can you wish for? We would love to stay here again on our next visit!

Revewer W P summed it up for me. More like 2 star hotel. 202 quad room. It’s spacious for family but thats about it. Had a leaky kettle which a gentleman came and banged it against a sink at 08:00 in front of my family. Wow. Claimed he fixed it. Even gave me the side eye as if he’s GOAT or i’m stupid. Left and of course it leaked. Called reception again and the man returned with a new one. I’m surprised he apologized. Other than that, the room is basic outdated with DIY fixes. Not sure how the heating works but there’s a knob at the base of the water heater? I dont think it will be effective and expect the rooms to be cool/cold. The floors from the entrance to room is carpeted so a little work to roll your suitcase around. Lift available. Receptionists were pleasant and helpful. Don’t expect much other than the location. Ya, i agree, beefed up reviews. Would not return.
