Hotel is good for families or groups staying and reasonable, near Ganga ghats. But access from the main road is very small and untidy on rainy days. Geyser was not working, and the food was so so.
Worst Stay Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs This is a long post as there was a lot of share about my experience here! I had the misfortune of staying at this property, and it was hands-down the worst experience I’ve ever had. I will never recommend this place to anyone—here’s why: We arrived at 5 PM (well past the 12 PM check-in time) but still had to wait 30 minutes because the rooms “were being cleaned.” After patiently waiting and asking about the delay, the owner got upset and sarcastically offered a 1-hour checkout extension—an empty gesture since we ended up leaving 8 hours early anyway. Once we finally checked in, the room’s A/C wasn’t working. The staff (who, to their credit, were polite unlike the owner) tried to fix it but admitted it hadn’t been used due to cold weather and wouldn’t be operational until March. I jokingly pointed out I paid for now, not March, and they laughed, suggesting I speak to the owner. That’s when things took a turn for the worse. The owner’s response was beyond appalling. Before I could even explain, he snapped, “You can take your money and leave if you want.” Shocked, I asked why he’d say that, but he doubled down, claiming, “You paid for the room, not the A/C”—a ridiculous statement that defies logic. I stayed calm and asked him to check with his staff about my demeanor, who confirmed I’d been polite. Did he care? No. He kept talking over me, bragging about how his family could live off his wealth for generations—completely irrelevant and bizarre. I finally walked away, unwilling to waste more time on a pointless argument. As for the room itself: don’t trust the online photos. The curtains were practically falling off the wall, the bathroom was infested with mosquitoes and flies, and despite paying in full via Booking.com, the owner demanded extra cash for “taxes” before check-in This place is a disaster, and the owner’s attitude is a masterclass in how not to treat guests. Save yourself the headache—stay far, far away.
The property is situated at an unimpressive place approachable through narrow dirty lanes. The property, run by a rude owner, supposed to be in hospitality business is least hospitable. Comprising small rooms with attached smaller bathrooms, the inn, grossly overpriced, 9is most unprofessionally managed. Sincere suggestion to tourists visiting Kashi ; avoid the property.
