Grantham Arms

Fantastic place, bar staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff were just as friendly and came across as nothing would be too much trouble. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced, I’d highly recommend the belly pork starter. The room was very comfortable and clean with great decor, as was the rest of the restaurant and bar areas, loads of little original ornaments which was great to see, makes it more personable and relaxing. Great outdoor seating area too. Breakfast was fantastic, and the guy serving (morning of the 6th August) was amazing, very friendly, attentive and just the right amount of energy needed for a great start to the day. I highly recommend this hotel, I will certainly be using every time I’m in the area over night.

It was our first stay at this hotel, booked by the people we were meeting up with. Excellent choice. Easily accessible from the A1. The accommodation, food, service and staff were faultless and high quality. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The room was excellent with lots of little extras to make you feel at home. A lot of thought has gone into the excellent decor inside and outside. Excellent variety of food types for both breakfast and evening meal, something for everyone.

Superb stay here...wonderful food.gorgeous room.super dog friendly..lovely outside area.Very welcoming and friendly staff- especially "jo" our host- could have taken him home...!!loved all the decorations and attention to detail...fabulous place - would give 6 stars if possible! Definitely will come back again x
